I have always been inclined towards using organic products in my daily life, from makeup, beauty products, skin care to food, so imagine my delight to be invited for an organic workshop at Nature’s Glory!
In 2011, my mother passed away from nose cancer at the age of 56 and since then I had become even more health conscious. I was intrigued when I heard from the owner, Peter Lim, on how he started Nature’s Glory because of a vision and divine call towards better health.
When he was 45 years old, he was plagued with poor health and had to be on monthly medications until he changed his lifestyle and diet towards organic and macrobiotic foods and started Nature’s Glory in 1991, did his health gradually improved.
Now 25 years later, Nature’s Glory offers a wide range of products that are truly unique, from organic and macrobiotic foods to health supplements, ionic water systems, beauty and car products brought about by painstaking research that are beneficial for our health and the environment.
During the workshop, Peter shared about how he encountered suppliers who tried to cheat him by putting non-organic items in organic certified carton boxes and even detected organic beans to contain some fungicides that were unknown in Europe. They managed to do this through their own research and development into an advanced test system which helps to detect frauds beyond paper certification.
Hence, Nature’s Glory is able to protect consumers’ interests and health from fake organic products and unscrupulous suppliers.
Some facts about Nature’s Glory:

Bonsoy- Lactose Free Non-Dairy Organic Soy Milk (Product of Japan)
I used to be able to take milk well until the past few years and also do not really like the grassy taste of soy milk, so I have been avoiding soy milk too. However, after trying Bonsoy at Nature’s Glory, who prepared some delicious laksa, cupcakes and latte for us using Bonsoy, I was a convert straightaway as not only do the food taste richer with a full-bodied flavour, Bonsoy is also full of health benefits.
Bonsoy are made mainly from organically grown soybeans and added with tapioca syrup and Job’s tears to bring out its natural roasted flavour without the “beany” taste.
Bonsoy can be added into various sweets & savouries such as:
- Ice cream
- Overnight oats/cereals
- Creamy soup/gravies/pastes
Bonsoy is also high in anti-cancer substances, which may help to eliminate stomach and intestinal polyps.
Recently, a good friend of mine has been diagnosed with multiple polyps, fibroids and cysts in her body and had undergone at least 4 surgeries in the past 2 years! I am so going to introduce Bonsoy and other organic products from Nature’s Glory to her.
Kombu (seaweed) powder contains alginic acid which helps to lower cholesterol levels, controls blood pressure and resist absorption of harmful strontium and cadmium into the body. You only need to sprinkle some Kombu powder into your food to enjoy a nutritious dish.
