Ever since I started my blog about a year ago, I could never have imagine the amount of time (many late nights), effort and money that I have invested into it. I used to think good writing skills was all it takes but how wrong I was when I realised I also have to learn and improve on skills such as photography, video editing, basic website creation, marketing and becoming social media savvy all at once. I have to learn them well and learn them pronto, although I admit I am still a work in progress in most of the areas.
Blogging is also a platform for my creative ideas and lately I found that blogging has help me rekindle an old friendship. 10 years ago, I met Ivory when we were serving in the Usher Ministry in Church. She was already a leader in the ministry at that time and is currently still serving in the ministry faithfully. After I left the ministry 4 years later, we had little opportunities to keep in contact, so you could imagine how happy I was to be able to reconnect after all these years and feature her home business on my blog!
Since being a mother to two lovely daughters in 2011, Ivory has devoted much time and energy to her children. In November 2013, after much encouragement from her supportive husband and good friends, Sow In Love was started when Ivory wanted to do something creative and feed her own soul. Sow In Love aims to create pretty, whimsical, inspiring and meaningful cards and prints for all occasions. Each product is hand-designed, hand-lettered and made with love.
Recently, Ivory received a request from UK to customise a card for a meaningful poem shared by the customer and her grandmother. The beautiful poem speaks volume of the bond and love between the lady and her grandmother.
Words are powerful and is the best way to express our love, gratitude and wishes for a loved one through these creative art pieces. Customisation requests are also welcome, may it be for a favourite quote or wedding invitation cards, so why not get one for your loved ones today! 🙂

I want 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 written with gold ink! 🙂 by the way, I couldn’t find Miss Chocoholic page on facebook so I haven’t liked the page yet.. help me please?
One of my favourite bible verses on Love! “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 🙂
I like that quote – what if I fall? Oh, my darling, what if you fly? 🙂
Thanks Grace!:) I always read your blog too:)
Hello! I chanced upon this giveaway as I am following sowinlove on instagram and I really love her work- not just her writing but her designs as well! I have read some of your blogposts as well as and I love it that you have such a variety of different posts!
Anyway, I have liked both the facebook pages 🙂 And if I were to envision a customized piece, I would like the quote “It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” by Confucius written in black with a simple colored or even plain background. It is one of my favourite quotes because it reminds me that in some matters, perseverance is the way to go. It may not come easy, and sometimes the goal seems far, but I’ll get there eventually as long as I don’t give up! 🙂
Thank you ^^
Thank Samantha for your kind words and for taking part in the giveaway! Your quote really serve as a reminder to me as well that it’s not how we start the race but how we end it that is important. Yes, let’s us persevere and be good finishers! 🙂
