I have to admit that I never liked vegetarian food because I do not like eating mock meat. Thankfully, Sufood does not serve mock meat but instead focuses on a wholesome and healthy Italian-inspired meat-free cuisine. Hence, I was excited to try the new menu at Sufood Singapore due to rave recommendation by a Taiwanese friend of mine.
By using fresh fruits, vegetables and healthy cooking techniques inspired by the Italian cuisine to create visually stunning and mouth-watering dishes, even a non-vegetarian like myself was very much impressed.
I think this is the perfect place to bring kids who do not like eating vegetables, because the colourful food presentation and creative plating are sure to entice and whet their appetite! Dishes in both vegan or lacto-ovo vegetarian style is available.

The other thing that impressed me was the service and knowledge of the staff who would walk around and explained to the diners how to eat certain dishes and the various ingredients that goes into the dish.
So I called up Sufood the next day as I wanted to make a dinner reservation for next week to celebrate a birthday and was informed that we could only dine from 7-8 pm as they were fully booked that day.
This is a testament to the growing popularity of vegetarian cuisine as vegetarian food does not need to be bland, insubstantial or boring at all! 🙂
