Recently, I attended the official launch event of the Chocolate Anti-Stress Facial treatment at J Studios and had the opportunity to try the facial treatment for myself. The chocolate used in the facial treatment contains 64% pure cocoa mass with hydrating, tonifying and regenerative properties.

The facial could not have come at a better time because I started using a brightening Vitamin C serum at home for a couple of days and my face was peeling badly due to insufficient hydration before and after using the Vitamin C serum. My skin was so dry and flaky that makeup could not stay on at all.

After the facial treatment, I was so relieved that my skin condition improved and there was no more peeling! 90-min Bernard Cassiere Chocolate Anti-Stress Treatment

I felt so relaxed during the entire facial because the chocolate present in all the products smelled so good! The facial treatment started with the Cocoa Beans Peeling scrub which contains cocoa beans rich in antioxidant polyphenols, cocoa butter and sweet almond oil to gently exfoliate, nourish and soften the skin.

The next step is my favourite part of any facial treatment and that is facial massage. The therapist massage my face with Cocoa Butter extracted from cocoa beans to repair, calm and protect the skin.

Then came the most anticipated part of the facial treatment when the therapist applied the edible Chocolate Fondue Mask which I couldn’t stop eating. The chocolate mask was easy to apply and remove, leaving my skin soft and radiant. The entire bottle of Chocolate Mask is meant for a single use for one facial treatment only.

My skin condition was really bad and dry (with flaky skin everywhere) that day and the therapist completed the facial with the nourishing Cocoa Nectar (Serum) and Nutriprotective Cream (Moisturiser) that aids in hydration, cellular renewal and nourishment of the skin.

The next day, I could see a significant improvement and my skin was visibly more supple and hydrated. I would stop using the brightening Vitamin C serum for a while and focus more on using hydrating skin care products as whether you have dry, oily or combination skin type, everyone needs adequate hydration.
